Summary of COVID-19 virus variants in Ireland

This report summarises COVID-19 whole genome sequencing (WGS) carried out by the National Virus Reference Laboratory (NVRL) and partners in the National SARS-CoV-2 WGS Programme. The report will be published monthly on Wednesdays.

The new Integrated Respiratory Virus Bulletin reports on influenza, respiratory syncytial virus (RSV), COVID-19, and other respiratory viruses (ORVs) circulating in Ireland this winter in a single interactive report and includes a section on SARS-CoV-2 variants.
