Publication of epidemiological reports paused during period of work stoppages
October 13, 2026
From Monday 12th October, the publication of routine epidemiological reports produced by HSE Health Protection Surveillance Centre will be temporarily paused. HPSC data hubs will not be updated during this time. This is due to the work stoppages affecting parts of the public sector.
The pause relates to the publication of regular surveillance reports. Signals of concern, including outbreaks or situations where surveillance thresholds are exceeded will continue to be monitored by HPSC.
Routine epidemiological reporting will resume when normal operations return.
