Ireland's COVID-19 Data Hub publishes data and map by local electoral area
As of 18th September, Ireland's COVID-19 Data Hub is now publishing data and maps by Local Electoral Area (LEA). This map provides a visualisation of the incidence rate per 100,000 population of confirmed COVID-19 cases notified in the previous 14 days at Local Electoral Area level across Ireland. Figures are based on the number of confirmed cases notified over a 14-day period (for example, all cases notified between Tuesday 1 September and midnight on Monday 14 September).
The map will be updated weekly on Thursdays with data for the most recent 14-day period. Therefore, each week there will be an overlap of 7 days in the period included in the previous week’s data.
Data is based on the ‘event creation date’ of each case. This is the date when the case was notified to the Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC).
