Seasonal flu vaccine is not the same as Pandemrix. Pandemrix was one of the vaccines used in the pandemic (swine flu) vaccination programme. For information about Pandemrix and narcolepsy click here.
This 2020/2021 season, the seasonal influenza vaccination programme has been expanded to include all children aged 2-12 years. The vaccine offered to this group will be the Quadrivalent Live Attenuated Influenza (LAIV) vaccine. Further informaton about flu vaccine for children can be found here.
