Recommendation
Measles is highly infectious – don’t ruin a holiday with measles. Make sure your family are protected against measles before travelling this summer (relevant for travel anywhere). All children and young adults should be vaccinated with MMR vaccine at 12 months of age and a preschool booster is given at 4-5 years of age. Two doses of MMR vaccine protects against measles as well as mumps and rubella. Click here for more information on measles.
