First All-Island Health Protection Conference, October 7th, 2025, The Titanic Conference Centre, Belfast

Theme: “A Problem Shared…..”

HSE Public Health: Health Protection and HSC Public Health Agency are holding their first joint conference on Tuesday 7th October, Titanic Conference Centre in Belfast. Focusing on the theme of “A problem shared….”, the conference will bring together a wide range of public health professionals, partners and key stakeholders across the island of Ireland to consider shared challenges and common approaches to address them in order to protect and improve the health of our populations. A key focus of the conference will be on issues of social inclusion, with presentations (oral and poster) looking at approaches to addressing health inequities and health inequalities on both sides of the border.

A scientific programme will be launched in June 2025.

Further announcements will be made on the full programme over the next couple of months, including key note speakers and presenters.
