First Year of the COVID-19 Pandemic in Ireland report published
During the first complete year (March 2020 to March 2021) of the COVID-19 pandemic in Ireland, 223,708 COVID-19 cases were reported. Almost 1 in 20 people in Ireland were diagnosed with COVID-19 during this time period and the country experienced three distinct waves of infection.
