Consultation Document
The draft "Guidelines for the early clinical and public health management of bacterial meningitis (including meningococcal disease)" were made available for consultation. This consultation period closed on 29th November 2011 and responses are currently being reviewed. These guidelines were prepared by the Bacterial Meningitis Subcommittee of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Health Protection Surveillance Centre. The subcommittee very much appreciated the feedback received.
