The SARI Infection Control and Hospital Antibiotic Stewardship Subcommittees carried out a survey of infection control, antibiotic stewardship and occupational health infrastructure in acute hospitals in Ireland.  The survey was carried out during the fourth quarter of 2003 and the preliminary results are contained in this report.
