European Antibiotic Awareness Day (EAAD) 2010
European Antibiotic Awareness Day (EAAD) takes place every year on November 18th. EAAD 2010 focuses on antibiotic use in hospitals, under the slogan “Antibiotics: Handle with Care”. The key message for prescribers is to use antibiotic wisely, to minimise the emergence and spread of antibiotic resistance.
