Current guidelines on the prevention of transmission of CJD and other transmissible encephalopathies in healthcare settings in Ireland are available for download. The guidelines were developed by the CJD Infection Control Sub-Committee on behalf of the HPSC Scientific Advisory Committee and the Department of Health and Children's National CJD Advisory Committee.
