Postgraduate Certificate in Health Protection Infection Prevention and Control and Health Protection (NFQ level 9)
The Department of Epidemiology & Public Health in UCC is offering two postgraduate courses in Health Protection starting in January 2017. One course is campus-based (CKU02 http://www.ucc.ie/en/cku02/) and runs on a Thursday evening from 6 – 9pm and all day Friday with an alternative option to study and complete the course entirely online (CKU13 http://www.ucc.ie/en/cku13/). Both courses have Category 2 An Bord Atranais approval.Applications are invited from healthcare professionals with an interest in developing their knowledge and skills in Health Protection and Infection Prevention and Control. Students will develop an understanding of quality improvement and patient safety issues which will assist in compliance to HIQA standards. Both courses run from January to May / June. Closing date for applications is Friday the 26th of November 2016.We are currently open for applications for both these courses via www.pac.ie.
